Marionette

A collection of modular nix configuration files to create a functional nix server/virtual machine for hosting various services.

Current Services

Simple tunnels to route traffic through for users who manage dns through Cloudflare

Currently the sable/sable-next clients with the Continuwuity homeserver

To build the VM run

nix-build '<nixpkgs/nixos>' -A vm -I nixpkgs=channel:nixos-26.05 -I nixos-config=./configuration.nix

To run the VM run

QEMU_KERNEL_PARAMS=console=ttyS0 ./result/bin/run-nixos-vm -nographic; reset

To exit the VM run

sudo poweroff

Make sure to run between builds

rm nixos.qcow2

Alternatively you can run rebuild.sh to rebuild and start the VM

Each module folder will have a seperate README.md to describe how to configure the service properly
